My three grown daughters loved their years of weekly art classes at Connie's studio, where Connie brings her knowledge, professionalism, and wisdom to her mixed-age classes while taking a genuine interest in her students. Through age-appropriate instruction in art history and technique, Connie's students are able to create lovely, unique works of art as well as develop an understanding and appreciation of art and its place in humanity and faith.

Ms. Connie has been my art teacher from kindergarten to now, she has taught all of my older siblings and each of us have loved her from the beginning. When we found out that she had a private art studio, we were ecstatic. We were so happy to be able to work with her one on one, where she has time for each of us and we could take as much time as we wanted to finish an art project. She always has many different art experiences to offer, and whatever it is, it’s always fun! We love her so much and always will!!!

We love Ms. Connie’s art class!  Our young daughter has always been imaginative and artistic.  Ms. Connie took our daughter’s interest in art and helped it blossom into a deep love of creativity. She is gentle, kind, encouraging, and beyond sweet when she works with children.  We have appreciated the open communication and positive support Ms. Connie provides for her students and families.  We are so thankful to have found her!

Connie’s Art Studio has been an integral part of my daughter’s life since she was six years old. Over the years, Saturday morning art lessons have become a bright spot in the week and a time for creativity and fun. Over the years I have seen my child’s art skills grow, her knowledge of art history has expanded and the things that she has learned will serve her for a life time. Now that my daughter is 18 years old she will be attending art school after high school and has earned an Artistic Aptitude scholarship. I believe that she is fully prepared for this next step because of Connie’s emphasis on challenging students to become well rounded art students and to create every possible type of art at the highest level. We love Connie and her art studio!

My daughter first met Ms. Connie in elementary school where she was the art teacher.   A couple of years after that, my daughter started attending her private art studio.  My daughter is 17 now and one of the main highlights of my daughter's week is attending Ms. Connie's art studio.  The tuition is very reasonable and classes are not overcrowded, classes are small enough that each student gets individual attention from Ms. Connie.  The art studio has all sorts of art supplies including a kiln for ceramic projects!  I've always been impressed with the art projects my daughter has brought home!

I took my 9 year old to the MoMA and was amazed that we had thoughtful conversations about artists, form, style, and composition because of the loving instruction from Ms. Connie. As my daughter grew, she earned many art awards and as an adult, she shares not only the skills she learned from Ms. Connie, but also her love of people and nature with others.

The thing that I look forward to most each week is my Saturday art lessons. My favorite part of Ms. Parrish's studio is working with clay. Also, the challenges she gives me each week to create my artwork.

I first met Connie many years ago when she taught my son in the school district.  She is an excellent teacher and loves and cares greatly for her students.  Though grown and out of school, my son still has fond memories of his time in her classes and still considers her one of his favorite teachers.  My daughter has been attending lessons with Connie in her studio for a few years now.  My daughter completely loves taking art classes with Connie and is devastated if we have to skip a week.  Beth has grown tremendously in her own art as well as her appreciation for art all around.

Ms. Connie has a good balance between fun and educational projects, teaching art history, principles, elements, and more. These art lessons have not only taught me about the basics of art and its history but, have become a  calming activity at the end of my week that I can look forward to.
